Top 10: Marvel Villains That Won't Be Made But Should

You know it's true there's just going to be some comic characters that just won't be made into action figures, even though they probably should.

Here's my list of the top 10 Marvel villains I just don't ever see being made in the Marvel Legends toy line. I just don't, no matter how popular or integral they may be.
I'll even throw in a pic of a customized version of said character to show how they'd look in toy form.

Let's get to it.

1). Puppet Master

2). Space Phantom

3). Immortus

4). Nightmare

5). Flag-Smasher

6). Hate-Monger

7). The Orb

8).  Akron

9). The Trapster

10). Cyber

As you can see based of those customs, they pretty much make the case for themselves don't they?
So while I don't see them possibly ever being made, I'd love Hasbro to prove me wrong.

Dream Waves: The Winter Guard

TGIF!!!!!

Welcome to this week's edition of

Where I am present my ideas for possible future lines of figures I'd love to see get made.

I was going through google, looking for images of the new Squadron Supreme of America from the newest issue of Avengers, when I happened to see a page of the Winter Guard.

They looked pretty good, especially being rendered by Ed McGuinness. And it got me thinking;
damn it'd be cool if we'd have the entire Winter Guard team in figure-form, specifically from the Marvel Legends line.

And it's not like we don't already have start in that direction considering Hasbro already made and put out two members of the team in the Red Guardian and the Black Widow, you know if you want to put her on the team that is.

The following is a brief list of who else I'd make from the team in order to fill it the rest of the roster.

-Winter Guard Wave 1:

1). Darkstar

2). Vostok

3). Perun

4). Crimson Dynamo

5). Vanguard

6). Red Guardian (repaint)

7). Red Widow

BAF: Ursa Major

I guess technically the Crimson Dynamo could also be a BAF and I wouldn't be against that. I jist figured the giant bear should be the BAF in this one.

Head Swap-A-Loo-Bop

I was messing around yesterday with some head swaps and figured I take a couple pics for the hell of it:

The Silver Sable head actually not only fits on the new BC body, but fits overall for a nice head-swapped look.

Likewise, the new Black Cat head fits on the Silver Sable body pretty well.
She looks like an agent of SHIELD or the Wild Pack.

Yeah, whatever happened to that Silver Sable/Black Cat team-up movie that Sony was supposed to make?

As you can the idea that the older BC head would be an easy head swap did not pan out for obvious reasons. The neck peg is too small and the head too big. Likewise the older BC head makes the newer BC neck look super long, making her look like an awkward giraffe. I bet she hasn't felt that ugly since high school.

I know there's a good number of people out there who don't care for the new Black Cat figure, especially because of those weird eyes over her chest. I've warmed up to the new look myself. Now don't get me wrong; I still prefer her classic look overall, but this newer one feels more like the Ultimate Universe version of Felicia to me.

Finally a figure I didn't think I'd like as much as I did, but once I opened him up and got him out of his package, he definitely grew on me.

The lack of ab and waist-crunch/articulation/swivel doesn't help the figure, but I can learn to live without it.

The lack of clearly defined, painted in web lines though are pretty low rent. Why Hasbro chose to cheap out like this and not have the webbing painted in I'll never know.
Something else for customizers to work on I guess.

Return to Sender

So this just happened to me today; in addition to ordering my sister's birthday gift off Amazon, I went ahead and ordered the new ML Puma figure as well as the ML Malekith figure since he was only $12.71.

Well today I received my figures in the mail and everything seemed fine until I opened the box and saw this:

Yup, a legit surprise.
That sure as shit isn't Puma.

What it looks like is the Age of Apocalypse Sabertooth

And after doing some digging, it's exactly the 2008 Walmart Exclusive Giant Man BAF Wave AoA Sabertooth figure.
Meaning somehow, someway, A Sabertooth figure was mistakenly packaged up in the Puma packaging.
I'm truly baffled how the hell that even happened to be honest.

Weird....

So I boxed it back up and brought it to my local UPS store where thankfully Amazon has a free return policy with them and now the waiting game resumes once again for my Puma figure.

Dream Waves: Moon Knight

Yeah it's pretty much officially unofficially Moon Knight week around here isn't it?
Fuck it, why fight it.

So, continuing on with the Moon Knight theme I figured I'd put my thinking hat on and imagine how I'd like a Moon Knight sub-line of Marvel Legends figures to look like and who I'd include in it in  this week's edition of

Let's get to it shall we?

Wave 1:

1). Classic Moon Knight

2). Mr. Knight

3). Bushman

4). Midnight (Jeff Wilde)

Personally, I had three heads for this figure; the full skull-capped one, the one with the half mask w/hair, and the third being an unmasked, battle-damaged head.

5). Scarlet Moonlight

6). Black Spectre

7). Shadow Knight (Randal Spector)

BAF: Werewolf By Night

Honestly Jack's the only figure I can think of that would be BAF material, considering how everyone else enemy or ally, would be regular-sized.

And that's what I think a Moon Knight wave would/should look like.
Did I miss anyone? I know I didn't include supporting characters like Marlene or Frenchy, because honestly, who's going to want action figures of them outside of a few hardcore MK fans. There's just wouldn't be enough interested buyers in them, so I intentionally left them out.

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."

Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...
