And on that note, here's this week's contestants for So, Who Would Win?:

First up is Marvel's favorite homicidal, fratricidal android, Ultron. You may remember him from as the star of his own shitty comic event/crossover, 2011's Age Of Ultron.

And in the other corner, is DC's response(well technically Brainiac did exist first) and the main villainous lead to tis and next year's upcoming comic event, Convergence(It's really CRISIS, the 2015 version, but they still won't cop to it)Brainiac.

The Trouble with kids

Ah Mondays. God love em' right? No? Yeah, pretty much.

So this previous Saturday I was bad. I went back to my local comic shop, Nuklear Comix, after my initial trip last Tuesday to pick up the Black Panther figure. Will boredom got the better of me, so I went yet again.

This time(and yes all impulse purchases) I bought a loose DCUC Cyborg variant figure and the new ML Thunderbolts-style Punisher figure.

Also, I picked up the first and only, Batman Inc. Special#1 and Justice League#21, featuring the death of Black Adam.

So yeah, spent my comic shop in one whole week. Not hard to do if you're me.

Oh well.....

Finally, and in case you were wondering, Black Panther won out over Bronze Tiger by a landslide of 5-0.

Omega wasn't here, but even he probably had to cede the victory to T'Challa.

And that isn't to say that good ol' BT wouldn't but up a fight; hey, this guy fought Batman to a standstill once!

It's just that T'Challa is stronger, faster, and tougher. This is the same guy who's taken down The Thing, a full-on charging Rhino, and Black Bolt. Yeah.

In the end, wouldn't we all be winners though for watching a fight that would last hours, possibly even days?

Happy Hump Day people!!!!!

So, Goo(a.k.a. Chuck Topley) and I were talking this past Sunday about the lack of figures around our areas, and how the ends of both the DCUC and ML lines meant we'd really start to be hurting in that department.

It's why I've been buying up so many back issues like crazy recently. Because I have a sudden availability in funds that would've been spent towards action figures.

Well yesterday I hit the jackpot by when my buddy that works at my local comic shop informed that they just received a shipment of the latest ML figures. The Rocket Raccoon wave to be precise.

I will say this, at least you only have to collect 3 figures instead of the usual 6 or 7 just to get a complete build a figure.

Anyways, I raced right over and bought the new ML Black Panther figure.
Then I discovered another figure I didn't think I'd see, the DC Unlimited Vampire Batman figure based off the Red Mist trilogy by Doug Monech and Kelley Jones.


The son of a bitch kept me up all night long singing the old Chili's baby back ribs song, except he has singing about Sooki Stackhouse instead.

He was all like "Sooki........Sooki Stackhouse's hot ribs!!!!! That's not barbecue sauce!!!!

     

"Sooki!"

Then went to Wal-Mart(or hell-mart as my mom calls it) and bought the ML Iron Monger series Ultron figure for only 11$.

"Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!"

So yay!
