"What's The Magic Word?"

My good buddy Googum sent me a goody box filled with old comics and two figures; the DC Multiverse Spoiler and movie Captain Marvel Shazam figures.

Naturally I saw potential with those two, and here's part of it.....

"The Firestorm Blues"

Oh what the hell, I'm feeling creative AND generous, so here's another bonus skit for the week.

For some quick context, it's come to my attention via a post my buddy Googum did on his blog a few weeks ago where Firestorm and the Flash teamed up. In the course of the team-up, Firestorm absorbed a shit ton of radiation and got drunk/high off it. Soooooo, guess what happens when Firestorm gets hooked on that radiation buzz and chases it like a drug addict?
Bad times for him, but good laughs for us,

Enjoy.....

Poor bastard. I see a big ol' Justice League-sized episode of Intervention in his immediate future.

December, What December?

What's up people?

Fuck me, it's December already and man, personally I'm just ready for this month to hurry up and be over with already.

That being said, I did luck out there as far as figures go.
I bought the last 3 figures I needed in the ML X-Men Apocalypse BAF to complete him, which were Multiple Man, Sabertooth and Magneto.

Overall I happy with my purchases. Didn't buy that Yellow costumed Wolverine though. Thankfully I skip him since he only came with theo hoses for 'Pocy.

Oh and this is for Googum because I told him I could :

It's a panel from a Jack Kirby-drawn issue of the Manhunter 1st Issue Special he did in the mid 70's, but dubbed over using lyrics from the Talking Heads' song, "Once in a lifetime."

Here's the original panel for comparison:

Oh Little Johnny, NO!

Yup, apparently Dr. Doom and the Catholic Church (or any Christian church for that matter) both don't want you to have fun touching yourself

That Doom, what a cock (and/or clit) blocker.....Who knew?

Oh and there's this too.....

That's right kids, it's the first of the month, and you know what that means:

Enjoy the hell out of those foods stamps you crazy kids. We're paying for 'em. Ha ha.

Finally, today is my good buddy and fellow blogger Googum's birthday today.

Yup he shares the same birthday as MTV. To quote Goldmember from the Austin Powers movie of the same name, "ISN'T THAT VEIRD!!!!"

So do him a solid and go wish a Happy Birthday on his blog.

My own birthday's this Saturday, and no, I'm not looking forward to turning 37. Yes, 37, and no I don't look it, but yes, oh god so I feel it.  DAMN KIDS!!!!

Swag-A-Mania Is Running Wild!

Man what a weekend!

So I pretty much did my own Christmas shopping for myself, and made out like a friggin' bandito.

It started off last Friday with a visit to a good friend and former comic shop owner who was selling a decent amount of figures.

This is what I got.....and all for only 60$!

The Marvel Select Savage Hulk and Red Hulk, The ML Hulk series Mr. Fixit Hulk, The ML variant Abomination, The Avengers Disassembled -era Iron Man, The Punisher from the ML Marvel Knights Box-Set, and the DC Multiverse Death of the Family Joker....with his own peeled face as an accessory!

Then my good friend and fellow Blogger Googum, sent me a care package of more figures and comics!!!!! Merry Christmas to me indeed....

First the figures....
The Gotham TV series James Gordon and Catwoman, and the DC Multiverse Supergirl TV Show Supergirl.
Got a nice, and very cool Hot Wheels Beatles' Yellow Submarine as well.

And a very cool as fuck DC cast shirt.
Now here's the comics' tally along with the whole amount of comics I bought last Saturday included:

-Marvel Boy#'s 3,4
-Universe X#'s 4-5,9,12,X
-All-Star Section 8#'s 1-2
-Doomwar #5(of 6)
-Nextwave#11
-Drax#005
-Venom: Space Knight#3
-The Vision#3
-Giant-Sized Little A VS X
-Iron Man (Vol.1 258.3)
-Steve Rogers: Super-Soldier#1

-Black Widow#007
-Karnak#'s 2-3
-James Bond 007#3
-Robocop: Live and Die in Detroit#1
-Batgirl (Vol.1 #50)

Damn, that's a lot right?
On the What If? front, that was all me. I've been on a big What If? kick as of late, so that explains why I bought up so many older issues, specifically the ones form volume 2. But hey, the first volume's worth are very worthwhile to get if you find some you like. Plus there's like 5 or 6 volumes worth of What If? trades from the original series,

And now that I hover near being broke again so soon, onto Christmas shopping for the family....

Super Creep

Ah, tis' Monday!

How was your weekend people? Mine was the right amount of craziness, so no complaints there.
Moving on into today's skit, I just happened to be watching the movie Superbad at the time, and then this scene kinda' popped out at me as something to try:

Yep, that scene. Oh this is gonna' be fun:)

The End

Okay, so maybe it didn't happen exactly like that......but it should've;)

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."

Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...
