What The Fuck Were They Thinking: Frog-Man

TGIF!!!!!!

Frog-Man.
Let that name sink in for a minute. Not really a terrifying name is it?

Well apparently that little fact, not to mention the re-donk-ulous frog suit, didn't stop one Eugene Patilio from naming himself that, and deciding to do his part to rid the world of crime.

No, seriously.

It seems Mr. Patilio's dad was once a super-villain named Leapfrog.
He was a failure as a regular criminal, who graduated into a super-failure once he invented a special electrical coil system that allowed him to jump high distances and don a giant frog suit.

As was to be expected he never amounted to much, becoming a regular punching bag for various heroes, but primarily Daredevil.

Thankfully he decided to give it all up after the many numerous beat-downs he received.

This is is where his son Eugene comes into the picture. Feeling really ashamed and embarrassed because of his father's failed career as a super-villain, Eugene decided to go the other way, and become a superhero in order to atone for his father's actions.

And thus the scourge of all super-villains was born.
No, not really....

Frog-Man first appeared in Marvel Team-Up#121 (September 1982), created by writer J.M. DeMattesis and artist Kerry Gammill.

One time Frog-Man tried to be Spider-Man's sidekick, but found competition for the "role" in the unlikely form of the Toad.

No, you read that right.

Froggy and the Toad(Magneto's former lackey whipping boy from the first Brotherhood of Evil Mutants) battled it out to be Spidey's sidekick.....to Spidey's doubtless frustration.

Other than that, Froggy's popped up here and there over the years, most notably during the Fear Itself event, where he was a part of a volunteer group of heroes trying to capture Crossbones, who escaped from the super-villain prison facility, the Raft.

He also appeared during the whole Spider-Island incident, where he teamed up with some Avengers to stop an attack by the evil terrorist group Ultimatum and Flag-Smasher.

Other than that, I imagine he can be randomly seen, jumping around, trying to stop some poor, confused criminal or criminals. They probably think they're high or seeing shit. But nope. It's Frogger come to life.

YOLO I guess;)

And with that, despite his big heart and noble ambitions, I just have to say to both Mr. DeMatteis and Mr. Gammill.....

Gentlemen, What The Fuck Were You Thinking?

Hope you guys have a good/great weekend, and stay safe:)

So, Who Would Win?: The Red Skull VS. Lex Luthor

TGIT!

Has anyone ever thought of what a fight between these two maniacs would be like?
One's a rich and arrogant Xenophobe, the other an arrogant, hate-rich white-supremacist. Okay more like he hates everyone, but you get the idea.

I'm not sure of a scenario that would cause these two to go at it, other than something involving both their respective arch-foes. Maybe The Skull's plans for world(and possibly universal) domination directly impact and interfere with Lex's plans....for the same thing.

While Lex has no super powers, he is hella' smart and rich, with the resources to back up whatever crazy-ass scheme he's got cooking.

The Red Skull just acquired powers in the form of the late Prof. X's mutant brain, and the inherent powers they contained. Don't ask me how that works though, since the Skull wasn't born with such powers, so how can he even use them. Even if the Xavier's brain was grafted onto Skull's, it shouldn't really work. But you know....comic book science and all that.

So.....

The Red Skull

VS.

Lex Luthor

Bad Atom: Part One

Inspired by fellow action figure skit-making brother from another mother, Googum over at Random Happenstance, I decided to break up skit I made into three parts and drag it out a bit. Hell, I might even maybe add more if I feel like it.

Much like the Bad Ralph series, featuring The Elongated Man being a dick to his fellow Justice Leaguers, So too is Ray Palmer, in a new series of skits called Bad Atom.

Hope you guys enjoy the first installment.....

The End

Hmm. While Ralph kinda' deserves this for being a dick earlier, it is a real ow blow by the Atom here. Especially doing the whole ventriloquist act and imitating Ralph's dead wife Sue. Even more so super-dickish when you remember it was Ray's ex-wife Jean, that killed Sue.

Ouch man, ouch.

More from the Atom next week.....

Cat-Tastrophe

What's up people, and Happy Columbus Day.
How was the weekend? Good? Bad?

Mine was decent enough, but nothing too noteworthy....

Any Cat owners in the house?
If so, this one's for you......

The End

Again, Cat owners no doubt know all about such joyous scenes of carnage and destruction like this....some of them are all-too familiar with this.

So, Who Would Win: Iron Man VS. The Metal Men

Here's one fight scenario I can't believe no one else has thought of;
Iron Man versus The Metal Men.

Just let that thought sink in for a bit.

Got it?
Good....

Iron Man

VS.

The Metal Men
(Gold, Mercury, Iron, Lead, Platinum, and Copper)

This one would be a hell of a fight right off the bat, not to mention an interesting battle of wits and inventive minds in Tony Stark versus Dr. Will Magnus.

Anything could happen, even if first impressions might favor Ol' Shell-Head.
But don't count out The Metal Men just yet, nor their ability to overcome the odds.

SO,

Iron Man
 VS.

The Metal Men....

Who Wins? Why?

You guys know where to leave your chosen victor.
As always, have a good weekend guys and gals.....

Sons Of Kirby

TGIT!!!!

Wow. Post 600. Where does the time go?
I wanted to do something a little special to mark the occasion, so I found myself inspired by the theme song to the show Sons Of Anarchy. And then I hit upon an idea;

The Sons Of Kirby......

Just rolls of the tongue huh?
I thought so too.

So, without further ado....

Here's the Sons Of Kirby.....

Just a little something I threw together over the last couple of days. Honest;)

Hope you guys liked it.

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."

Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...
