Seeing Red

Hey people.

So Election Day is right around the corner, and 'tis the season to go out and well, vote.

I'm not sure if I am myself, as I don't really care for either candidate, yet that's what we as the American people are stuck with as far as choices go.

I don't care for Obama even though he hasn't done all that bad of a job, and Romney's a rich and stupid idiot, so really no real choices for me.

If I do go to vote, you can bet your sweet asses it'll all be write-ins, as in maybe Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, Harvey Deny, Peter Parker, etc.

The point is I hate to feel as though I'm forced to pick between the lesser of two evils, so it's either write-ins or no-show.

Hopefully if enough people feel the same way, and decide to wither not vote or go the write-in way, maybe, just maybe, the political machine might get the hint. But I seriously doubt it:(

The ridiculous amount of money spent an campaigns every election is astronomically out of whack, which is horrible considering where all that wasted money could really go. Like the rapidly deteriorating education system, the Red Cross or Salvation Army, public television stations like PBS, or even back into the pockets of the hard-working middle and poor classes.

But no, it all goes into the pockets of those who deserve it the least; rich politicians.
Sigh.

So, go vote if you must, and stand by your choice as long as you have one.

Alright that's enough of my mini-political rant for today. I usually try and keep such a distasteful topic such as politics out of The House, but hey, it happens sometimes.

And now for change we all can believe in; a brand new skit:

Extra:

Yep, if you guys remember that song "Because I got high" by the rapper Afroman from like 10 years ago, then you'll know where this came from. If not, direct your attention to the bottom of the screen, and so what the all fuss is about:

Good times:)

My Mr.Morbid-sense is telling me there's a potential "I was going to vote, but then I got high" verse possibly coming up in future;)

Change you can believe in - DC52 or Marvel Now? My all I believe in right now is the end of work, and old comics to soak the day away with.

@Shlomo, oh yeah, hell yeah man! I watch that show religiously every wed @ 8, and then American Horror: Asylum on @ 10, both damn good shows I highly, highly recommend.

@Dan, well call me Mr.Pessimistic, but I'll say illusion of change, with both companies riding the reboot trend into the ground. Hopefully out of the dust will emerge good/decent stories, as should always be the main focus.

Old comics? Oh hell yes; it's a must:)

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."
