So, Who Would Win?; Captain America VS. OMAC

You know, I've kinda' always wondered about this particular match-up.
Why?

It's a battle between two super-strong sons of Kirby with similar origins.
Ok, Steve's was all about WW2, and a super-serum, but Buddy Blank transforming into OMAC was just about the same thing.


The only main difference is the time periods, and exact methods by which they derived their powers: Steve's was a serum; Buddy Brother Eye.

Now of course the main glaring difference is that OMAC was only as powerful as Brother Eye allowed him to be, depending on the different situations and battles he faced.

Cap's power-set's pretty much stayed the same over the years.

And really if you think about it, isn't OMAC really just a futuristic version of Cap? I tend to think so.

Another random bit of coincidence, Cap recently came back from the near year-long Dimension Z storyline, and rescued one of Zola's kids.

 He's since rapidly grown up, and has taken up the mantle of Nomad, partnering up with the new Cap, Sam Wilson.

Sounds very similar to the role Buddy Blank would later take, taking care of the boy who would become Kamandi. Remember him?

Yeah.

Wow. Post 600. Where does the time go?
I wanted to do something a little special to mark the occasion, so I found myself inspired by the theme song to the show Sons Of Anarchy. And then I hit upon an idea;

What's up people?

Ahh, a new skit, a new month. Sounds about right. In two short weeks, unless something fucked up happens on Blogger's end, I'll be celebrating my 500th post. Wow. 500. Hopefully better, if not as good as 400 and all the others. Fingers and dicks crossed people.

Okay today's skit is probably a little weird. Or maybe it's me, idk. You be the judge and tell me what you think. And away we go.........

I don't personally hate the 70's, but as you can plainly see, not everyone was enjoyed that decade as PG herself an attest to;)

The Creeper: "Dude, what the hell's up with your hair!? My, what a big Mohawk you have grandma, ha ha!"

OMAC: "Hey I'm just a product of my time, which just so happens to be the 1970's."

The Creeper: "Yeah, no shit Sherlock! That look's deader than disco and John Travolta's heterosexuality."

OMAC: "Hey, don't hate on the do. It's business in the front, party in the back."

The Creeper: "You didn't just say that. Tell me you didn't just say that? Ha ha!"

The Creeper: "Seriously though, how the hell can you tell which is which? I can't figure out where the party begins and the business side ends, and vice-versa."

OMAC: "Papa Kirby's vision was always misunderstood, so I don't expect you to understand."

The Creeper: "Sure, sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night Mr. T, Ha ha!"

OMAC: "*Sigh*"

Not too bad I think, but I did write this bad boy, so........

Speaking of bad boys, I've recently found a cool new show to watch, as the season of Sons of Anarchy is back on.

I first became aware of the show a few years back, but never really followed up on it, and shame on me for doing that, as this show kicks all kinds of ass!

It's like the Sopranos, but with bikers instead of Mobsters.

Anyhoo, it's good stuff, filled with your daily dose of guns, violence, sex, and more violence. Hmm mm, good!

And if that isn't enticing enough, the show features popular stars like Katie Sagal from Married with children, Jimmy Smits from LA Law and Dexter, and of course, Ron Perelman. You know, that guy from those Hellboy movies? Yeah those people. It's good stuff, and you can check it on FX, Tuesday nights @ 10.
