So, Who Would Win?: Iron Fist VS. The Karate Kid(LoSH)

TGIT!!!

Quick rant.
Can someone please explain to me why and what asshole decided to make Good Friday a bank holiday?
I'm really curious because I think it's total bullshit!

Seriously, instances like this make we glad there's a supposed separation of church and state here in America, even if it doesn't always seem like it.

To me, most things and situations in regards to this, revolve around money.
So, someone please tell me who benefits from this, and why?

I don't remember Jesus dying on the cross, telling people to close down banks on the day he gets buried.
Just so fucking stupid and pointless.
Does that mean the bank employees get vacation pay then?

Whatever man.......

End Rant.

Hey, who watched Arrow last night?
DAYUM!!!! is all I have to say.
Ra's tactics to frame Oliver worked to a fucking t. So much so, that the whole Starling City police department was hunting Oliie and friends for most of the show.
In the end, Oliver decides to turn himself in after the cops show up at Verdant. And then Roy does something very stupid but noble, and hijacks Ollie's prison van and causes it to stop. Once it does, he claims HE's the Arrow, not Olliver. And that's how the show ends. Crazy man. This is was defintely one of those episdoes that could've easily been a season-ender instead of a regular episode. Just fucking nailed it.

Can't wait to see the fallout for next week, as we're teased with seeing Roy(and I think Malcom Merlyin) both in prison fighting to survive.
So boy do I have a hell of a match up for you guys in this week's edition of So, Who Would Win?;

Iron Fist Vs. the LoSH's Karate Kid.

I know I can't be the only one to wonder what a matchup between the two would be like, so I'm leaving it to you my loyal readers, to pick a winner.

A quick recap though of these guys abilites:

Iron Fist can channel his chi into a blazing or blazing fists, capable of destroying pretty much anything that gets in his way. He has also showed mastery over a telepathic mind fusion technique and has enchanced spped, agility, and a minor healing factor. Plus he's a Kung-Fu master from the otherworldly dimension of K'un L'un, with complete mastery over all the martial art styles there and on Earth.

The Karate Kid is a 30th century master of all forms of martial arts on his world. Despite not having any superpowers, other if you can mind control resistance(usually) and being able to find the weakness in people and things, he can and has held his own on multiple occassions against foes that do.

My favorite showcase of his badassary, was back in JLA#  , where under mind control, he fought Batman.
Now we all know what a badass and martial arts expert batman is. But in this instance, not only did the Karate Kid hold his own against Batman, he was on well on his way to beating him before Batman tricked and distracted him long enough for Black Lighting to knock him out with his powers.

Respect to anyone that can go toe-to-toe wth Batman, and not only hang, but could more than likely win.

So....

Iron Fist

VS.

The Karate Kid

Who Wins and Why....

Let me know who you think is the ultimate winner in the comments' section.

healing factor and grit win it for Danny I reckon. K.K. might be mean in 31st Century standards, but Iron Fist has evolved on the streets of New York, partnered with Luke Cage and filled in for Daredevil. That grit the future has no experience of.

I'm not really a huge fan of either... I enjoy when they show up in things but I have no interest in reading their titles... (Iron Fist's have been especially bad) but for some reason whenever Karate Kid shows up in a book I think: 'Oh fuck! Shits about to get REAL.'
Maybe it's just because of his Legion ties. -Living weapon, future karate trumps present-day, white-guy karate.

So, yeah- The Karate Kid... all day!

@Dan: Agreed. No matter how badass his skill-set, I think Danny edges out in the power department.

@King: yeah, same here, especially in the case of Karate Kid. Even by comic book standards it's a fairly boring name. He may have his moments here and there, but overall and compared to his teammates, he's stands out like a sore thumb, and not in a cool way like Batman does on the League.

@Shlomo: Ha! If I had, that fight scene would't even rate a second panel. Not even Mr Myiagi's magical "wax on, wax off" technique would be of any use here.

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."

Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...
