Monument Men

Sometimes I can be topical, sometimes not; This is kinda' topical, since both participants in today's skit have movies coming out soon.....

The End

Yeah, I'm definitely curious how both Josh Brolin and James Spader pull off their respective villains.
I'll guess we'll have to wait and see won't we?

Man those are two great villain figures. tho Ultron looks minute compared to Thanos dosent he?
Ive got similar bathroom tiles but in grey!
Spader is a good fit for Ultron I feel as he has the chops to pull it off...but Brolin as Thanos? His acting has improved over the years but even so... Cant see it somehow.

I'm gonna have a hard time not calling Ultron "Blaine" from now on.

@Karl: yes they are, and yes he is. That Thanks figure is name in a different scale than the now originally much smaller Marvel Legend figures.

I don't really have a dog in this fight myself, but I see both puling their respective roles of.
Spider's a given; he's just a natural villain.

Brolin just may surprise his critics. Or not.

We shall see.

@Random: who's blaine?

Spader's drunk coked out character in Pretty in Pink. :)

Oh ok. Never watched that one. I know he was a douche in Maniquin and Too low for zero, both featuring Andrew McCarthy.

Pretty in Pink had Andrew McCarthy too! I see pretty people patterns...

LOL I like how Ultron passes it off as Human Error - that so in character :) As for Jonah Hex, yes possibly the worst comic movie ever. And a shame too, I really miss westerns at the moment. Dances with feckin wolves sure wrecked the adventurous wild!

I have no problem with my cowboys having feelings, but I prefer them to have feeling associated with gunshot wounds and festering snake bites. Not "I feel bad about the t'tonka"

@King: They both suck dicks. Got it. I'm sure that'll make someone very happy...(Isn't that right Karl?;)

@Random: same here, but I myself enjoyed Dances With Wolves. Good movie. Long, but good. (That's what she said:)
Although I think Robert Redford did it first in Jeremiah Johnson...

@Dan: Right? Ultron seems to easily forget he's partially human, so yeah.
Glad u enjoyed it mate.

@Random: Damnit ging!!! You'd better not have. My blogger insurance doesn't cover laughter-related injuries. High deductibles and all that:)

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."

Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...
