Well, I just found out that the Ultimate Warrior is dead.
For those who don't know who that is, he was a WWE Legend and former pro-wrestler.
He was the guy who instantly grabbed fan support for his wild running to the ring entrance, bouncing off the ropes like Speedball, and shaking the ropes like a mad man.
Sure he wasn't a technical wrestler. But he was flashy, with his wild attire and crazier face paint.
He was a product of his time and era, but damn what a time it was. Especially for a kid like me during the Wrestling boom of the 80's.
Here's some clips of the Warrior is his day:
His famous Wrestlemania 6 match against Hulk Hogan, in a true passing of the torch moment:
Of course he was also famous for his unintentionally funny as fuck, whacked out promos as well:
This was his most infamous, rambling on about a burning plane and shit.
(King know what I'm talking about;)
I wouldn't say I was a huge fan, but I was a fan nonetheless. Hell, I bought the action figures and even a Ultimate Warrior comic book he made back in '96.
Just sad all around to hear, especially since it was only last Saturday that he was officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Prayers go out to his family and loved ones of course.

That's sad. We never heard of him here in England so have been going over the 'net all day , reading the tributes to him. sounds like quite a guy.
Oh, I know them alright! From memory... This is my favorite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oclf74WhkR8 "Load the spaceship with the rocket-fuel; LOAD IT WITH THE WORDS!"
Excellent post.
-Good on ya for doing it...
I found out late last night. Hit my childhood hard in the gut. Especially after just seeing him get inducted in the H.o.F., at 'Mania, watching him on RAW for the first time in YEARS on Monday!
Re-watching his Hall of Fame speech, and his appearance on RAW- things he said- he had to of known something was wrong. He basically gave his own eulogy.
It's fucked up, but I'm glad he finally got the recognition he deserved, and buried the hatchet with, at least, Vince and Jake The Snake...
He had one hell of a send-off too! And I'm glad he got to do all of that before he died.
-They are saying heart-attack. There are people on Twitter posting pictures with him at the air-port just hours before. Life is short, death is sudden... Childhood dies but will always be remembered...
@Karl: really? Never heard of em huh? Well you do now......
He's was definitely controversial outside the ring for sure. Youtube his non-wrestling "motivational speeches" and you'll see what I mean.
@King: Had to dude. Just felt right in acknowledging it. Still in shock since we all saw him last monday, so yeah. Damn.
I'm glad he finally made peace w/ Vince and co. too. If you know the anything about the bad blood they had, it's nice to know that shit was finally put to rest.....before he is.
Crazy.
