"All Apologies"

Happy 1st of the Month motherfuckers!!!!!!!

Yes sir, it's also April Fool's Day, but unlike the previous years, I've been warned not to prank the staff here @ The House.

Yep, no more peeing in the lemonade, no more saran-wrapping the toilet seats, or throwing donkey-spunk on any poor, unsuspecting passerby. Nope, they got me on lock-down the little bastards, but there's always next year I tells ya';)

Anyhoo, here's the first skit of the month, featuring The Atom and the Elongated Man having a conservation looooong overdue. Like say 8 years overdue.

Enjoy......

True story.
The End;)

Yeah really DC; you have two(three counting Sue Dibny) decent and solid, iconic characters ripe for the using, but you don't. Shit like this is why I hardly buy new comics from the big two, and mostly  back issues where's nice and safe from Didio and his clan.

Now while I really did enjoy Identity Crisis on the whole and  as a story, I didn't like how it set up the very downfall of those two classic characters, and the eventual death of Ted Kord. Sad really, but then that was the period where Didio wanted these classic characters to be more gritty and show lasting consequences to the life of a superhero. Well yeah, of course there's consequences, but damn did they go overboard in that shit.

Oh well......

dude, if you had a Dr.Light figure that would make for a great skit about him being in prison :)

Yeah I wish I did, even the funky DC Direct Identity Crisis figure from which my Ralph figure comes from as well. Oh well.....

What kills me is the lack of necessity. I wonder if it came to Metzer in a dream. And if so, that is truly fucked up. Dreaming about offing Sue Dibny and Ted Kord. He should be ashamed of himself. But then, instead of seeking professional help, he decides ITS A GREAT PLOTLINE! Dickhead.
I still think the writers of Ultimate Spiderman and the people in charge of Blue Beetle got together and decided to mess with us. The similarities are just too freakish. And yes. We know what you're doing. And no. We will never love your replacement heroes like we love our originals! Scumbags.
Go get em guys.

Here, here!!!!!
It's sickening that in order to reproduce the excitement they got as young readers, that they feel they have to off these characters just for the added drama effect or whatever it is they're going for.

I think they learned the wrong lessons from famous stories like the original CRISIS or the Dark Phoenix Saga.

And how many times can they rewrite those? Oh wait. They haven't stopped yet.

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."

Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...
