Yeah, me too......
Going for something different this week because for the next four days, you'll be treated to four straight postings of So, Who Would Win?.....
To start off for today, here's one involving Animal Man in a matchup against Beast Boy.
Animal Man has the ability to mimic and duplicate the unique powers and natural abilities of animals, including insects as well.
With both having animal powers, I wonder who would have the edge in a straight up fight between the two.
-Would Animal Man be able to take control of Beast Boy while he's in animal form?
-Who has the most experience in both combat and using their powers: Buddy or Gar?
Buddy recieved his powers as an adult, yet Gar grew up learning to control his.
-Imagination; Buddy's been shown to be able to expand outside the normal realm of animals, and mimic the abilities of space animals and create his own microspoic world. Gar has shown he too isn't restricted to just using only animals to morph into. He can also asume nightmare-ish forms.
So,
Animal Man
VS.
Beast Boy
Who Wins and Why?
I'm curious to see who you guys picked as your ultimate winner here.

I'd give this to Beast Boy, hands down. I don't believe Animal Man could control him because Garfield retains his human mind while in beast form. And because Gar has had so much more practice with his abilities (not to mention funny sarcastic quips) that once he's angry enough (like he was after finding out Terra was an evil psychotic troll bent on the destruction of the Titans) he'd storm through Animal Man with the fury of ten enraged elephants.
Thx for playing Random. You've got a point for sure. I'm not sure if AM could control Gar either. I don't know if he ever could contrl animals like Aquaman can, but that's bc Aquaman has mental powers, I don't think Buddy does. But then he's also possessed the powers of space animals. Gar does indeed have the edge in practical experience, so to me it boils down to who has more stamina and combat experience.
I honestly don't know who to vote for, but I am more partial to Buddy. Still, that doesn't mean much in an actual fight. How long can Am counter Best Boy is the main question.
