I love your true stories. They always brighten my little corner of Illinois.
True story: listening to Prince always fills me with an uncontrollable desire to wear miniskirts and pearls.
Prince. When you're little it's all catchy hooks and smooth grooves, then you get older and realise he isn't singing about dairy products and nor is the rain purple because he's in a Gummi Bears cartoon.
I tell ya, those revelations take you from boy to man or young lady to just lady in an instant. Except for When Doves Cry. Literal or figurative, at any age that stuffs a tearjerker ;)
