So, Who Would Win? The Avengers of the Supernatural VS. Justice League Dark

What's up people, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

I was going to hold on and keep this one until tomorrow as the part of the "big finale" to Halloween theme week here, but what the hell.

For today's official Halloween edition of So, Who Would Win? I'm pitting a team I'd only recently become aware of, the Avengers of the Supernatural, against the Justice League Dark.

For the sake of today's post, I'll make things easy on myself and just feature the original members of each team only.

Here's a quick breakdown of the rosters of both teams as well a brief description of each members' powers:

-The Avengers of the Supernatural:

1). Dr. Strange (Magical powers; Sorcerer Supreme)
2). Blade (Half-Human/Half-Vampire Hybrid)
3). Ghost Rider (Supernatural spirit of vengeance)
4). Satana (Half-Human/Half-Succubus daughter of Satan; Magical powers)
5). Man-Thing (Swamp Monster; Guardian of the Nexus of all realities)
6). Manphibian (Creature with supernatural abilities and strength)
7). Dr. Voodoo (Magical powers)

-Justice League Dark:

1). John Constantine (Magical powers)
2). Zatanna (Magical powers)
3). Deadman (Supernatural ghost)
4). Shade the Changing Man (
5). Madam Xanadu (Magical powers)
6). Mindwarp (Mental powers)

Just off first impressions, not only does the Avengers team have the numbers advantage, they also seem to be more powerful as a collective as well.
Hmmmm.

Maybe I should've let them include Swamp Thing on the team, and then things might've been evened out a bit. Maybe....

That being said,

So, Who Would Win?: Youngblood VS. The Avengers

TGIT!!!!!

That's right folks, I'm pitting Rob Liefields' signature team against the iconic franchise team from Marvel Comics, the Avengers.

As is the case with superhero teams, there's bound to be plenty of roster changes over the years, depending on how long that teams' been around. And both teams, regardless of the length of time they've been around, have had plenty of membership rotations over the years. To simplify things for today, I'll just be focusing on the original incarnations of both teams.

Here's Young blood's initial line-up:

-Shaft (team leader)
He's an FBI agent turned archer.

-Badrock
He's the muscle of the group.

-Diehard
He's what Iron Man would be if he was around during WWII and was more of a cyborg.

-Kombat
He's the resident team alien warrior.
No powers, but very tough.

-Chapel
He's the resident team mercenary/government guy. Kind of like if the Punisher was working for the government, but black with a skull painted on his face. He also helped create Spawn.

-Vogue
She's basically the Image Comics' version of the Black Widow.

They're going up against the classic team of Avengers circa Avengers#4.

In case you don't already know, the line-up is as follows:

-Captain America (team leader)

-Iron Man

-Thor

-Giant Man

-The Wasp

As you can see, this'll be an interesting right since Youngblood outnumbers the Avengers 6-5, but the Avengers seem to have a slight advantage in the firepower department.

So,

Youngblood

Who Wins and Why?
Let me know who you thinks the last team standing in the comments' section.

Have a good weekend folks....

So, Who Would Win?: The Avengers VS. The Avengers 2099

TGIT!!!!!!

Alas, we finally come to the end of March, and with it the last 2099-themed edition of So, Who Would Win?.

Today, I'm choosing to go with a recent addition to the 2099verse, The 2099 Avengers.

They first debuted not too long ago during the whole Battleworld event, and seemed to bolster a pretty decent roster.

You had a Captain America leading the team, along with an Iron Man, a Hawkeye, A Black Widow, and the only member and holdout from the original team, Hercules.

Not a bad roster really. You have a small and simple core of characters with which you have plenty of room to develop if you want, if that opportunity had existed, which it didn't, but still....

So that's the roster for the Avengers 2099. The dilemma comes from having to pick representatives from the main Avengers team. Do you pick the classic 60's members? Do you come up with your favorites and put them on a team, or do you match them up by their appropriate counterparts?what do you do? I mean I guess you could go by who's the most consistently appearing member of the team  over the years and go from there, right?

Finally I said fuck it and went with their modern day counterparts because the Avengers back in 2009 weren't necessarily very Avenger-ish, as that was the age of the Dark Avengers and then you had Bucky's team of avengers and the whole thing just got complicated.

So, the 2099 Avengers will be facing the team of Captain America (Steve Rogers) Iron Man (Tony Stark), Thor, Hawkeye (Clint Barton) and the Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff)

So,

As always, I'm curious to see who you thinks is the last man/team standing in this one.
And that's me for this week folks, have a good one......

The Ol' Switcharoo

What's up people?
Welcome to the official first post of the month, and what a doozy of
a skit do I have you guys today.

Today I attempt to address the issue that heroes who shrink like The Atom and Ant-Man have had to face for years; not always being taken seriously by their teammates and comic fans when it comes to the nature of their powers.

Enjoy!

The Atom's week as an Avenger.....

Ant-Man's week as a Justice Leaguer.....

The End.

                                                                  Hey, it could happen.

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."

Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...
