So despite my reservations, I went and saw the Guardians of The Galaxy movie. I was pleasantly surprised, and awed by just how well James Gunn did on this movie. Bravo sir. I was a doubting Thomas unto the very end.
So, go see if you already haven't. It's really worth it.
No really, it is.
Fucking Disney....
Well that wasn't very nice, was it?
Now go see Guardians already. I mean it.

LOL nice skit mr. I know that I have drawn and written my own characters adventures in A4 excercise books ever since I was 11. Even though I don't do it daily, I'm still pretty fiercely protective of them.
That said I don't get how Jim Lee must feel seeing the wreck of what was once a universe he created the dawn of, one with more potential than DC was showing at the time.
Sure the answer is a big bag of money and an italian house on the shore, but really? It's all such a shame.
@King: I can still picture that one now, with the ending images of Jeffery the giraffe dancing with those two kids at the end. Kinda' creepy in a certain light now that I think about it....
@Dan: Exactly. I know he's got different priorities, and no longer feels compelled to write/draw stories about X-Men knock-offs made better over time with decent creative teams, but still man....loyalty and all, right?
Damn shame it is Dan. What's been assimilated into the new proper DCU proper, is extremely watered down and dumb.
'Sigh'
I knew I saw that outfit somewhere! It's Grifters. Star LORD you damn thief.
What up pimp? Been a minute right? I've been looking in on ya though.
And the movie is good. For a good time I recommend the right air hostess. But for a nice comic book movie Guardians of the Galaxy is the way to go.
