And also, I'd like to say, Happy Veterans' Day to all the brave men and women of the US Armed Forces, and also overseas and international.
Thank you and your families, for your bravery and many sacrifices you've made in service to your country.

Now then, in honor of Veteran's Day, I figured I'd cobble together a quick top 10 list of my favorite comic book war vets.
10). The Unknown Soldier:
Served in the Armed Forces less than two months before Pearl Harbor (Dec 7, 1941) until May 7, 1945.
9). The Punisher:
Served in the Armed Forces from 1968-1974, during the Vietnam War.
8). Nick Fury (And the Howling Commandos):
Served in the Armed Forces around 1940, including WW2(1941-1945) as well various other ops until he became head director of S.H.I.E.L.D. around 1965.
7). Sgt. Rock:
Served in the Armed forces during World War 2 (American involvement began Dec 8, 1941- Sep 2, 1945) Was reportedly K.I.A. on the last day of the war.
6). Bucky Barnes(Winter Soldier):
Served in the Armed Forces from 1941 until he was listed as M.I.A in 1945.
5). Professor X:
Served in the Korean War probably from about the start, June 25, 1950, until July 25, 1953.
4). Wolverine:
A veteran of numerous wars, specifically, WW1(1914-1918) and WW2(1939-1945).
3). Mr. Fantastic:
Served in the Armed Forces during WW2(1941-1945) and also as an O.S.S. operative.
2). The Thing:
Served in the Armed Forces during WW2(19941-1945) and as a US astronaut.
1). Captain America:
Served in the Armed Forces during World War 2 (American involvement began Dec 8, 1941- Sep 2, 1945) Cap was declared M.I.A. in 1945.
