Alright folks, have I got a treat for you people or what today....
this week's edition of So, Who Would Win? features two iconic super-bad cops that were the "champions" of the Blaxploitation era of the 70's.
I'm talkin' 'bout Shaft....and Superfly.
No, not this "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka.
I'm talking about this Superfly:
Can you dig it?
That's right folks, I'm pitting two of the most iconic cinematic black heroes from the 70's against each other in a duel orchestrated by the man, to see who's the better man; NY Detective John Shaft or major coke-dealer looking to get out of the game, Youngblood Priest.
In one corner, you have Shaft. One bad-ass mother-shut your mouth! but I'm just talkin' 'bout Shaft....and the fucking iconic soundtrack by music industry legend (and the voice of Chef from South Park) Issac Hayes.
In the other, is Priest, take-no-shit coke dealer on the rise who later decides to get out of the game, but on his own terms. His soundtrack was handled by another industry legend, Curtis Mayfield.
Richard Roundtree versus Ron O' Neil.
So......
Shaft
VS.
Superfly
Who Wins and Why?
And on that note, have a good weekend folks.....

Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka still somehow wins- because he has actually murdered someone!
