I guess to quote Will Smith, "Sometimes Parents Just Don't Understand."
Oh Ronnie Dio would be so proud.
So there you have it folks. you can rock out with your cock out while shooting your webs;)
Welcome to a place where the spirit of Fuckery, Toyfare and Robot Chicken live, and action figures do bad things to each other.
Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...

well i'll tell you what definitely didn't rock, that Supergirl premier. holy shit it was God awful I just kinda watched the first half and then just kinda zoned out for the second half for which I had already started doing other things around the house and it pretty much became back ground noise at that point. I wonder if Jeb Bush watched it? :)
Looks like I was proven right by avoiding it then. And now I know the world's ending if Jeb Bush agrees with me......Shit.
Speaking for myself, marvel and DC should ditch thier TV shit and just focus on making good movies. Same goes for the TV animation stuff it just doesn't seem like there's a market for more sophisticated stuff it's just all kiddie crap from both companies.
I don't know about that. I think it there's a steady market and audience there for tv shows, especially when using Netflix and and cable channels like AMC or HBO. Where they shouldn't appear unless the material is suited for a more kid and viewer-friendly series like Teen Titans and the like. Otherwise, its better if you stick shows like Constantine, Arrow, Gotham, etc on those said cable channels. They'd be better received and have better, more mature content worth viewing, ala Daredevil. Their too neutered on the basic cable channels to make them worth a damn, but that's just me.
The movies, DC aside, are doing pretty good business, even if the quality at times is lacking.
Hell, the only DC movies I'm interested these days are the animated movies, which are waay more better written and put together than the Marvel ones in my opinion.
SO yes, there is a market for sophisticated stuff, it just really depends on the networks that show them.
