both of these were good figures. I thought the 2013 DCUC's were going to come with double jointed knees and elbows.
Booster would have a twisted field day.
That would've been ideal, especially for the archers or runners, but sadly no. Mattel will claim it's a money issue, but I just think they're being lazy and silly.
Oh, and not just Booster; The Creeper and figures like Plastic Man and Elongated Man as well:)
True fact it's lazy. Marvel Legends are all double jointed heaven and their going to clean up 2013 if DC doesn't do something.
Exactly. That's even considering the fact that a lot of the new ML's coming out are mostly repaints and retoolings of previous figures, so there's really no excuse on DC/Mattel's part.
And now that the DC line is mostly subscription only, with the exception of the upcoming DC Unlimited wave, expect more of the same old bullshit, while Marvel chugs along, scooping up the fans that DC/Mattel have chased off, much like DC comics have chased off a lot of their old fanbase.
Hmm, methinks there's a conspiracy worthy of The Question afoot....
one of the best Justice League Unlimited episodes ever was the "The Greatest Story Never Told" starring Booster Gold. Dale, be sure to check out my comment on the SS#14 review i linked to on yesterday's posting on the SS blog.
Ok, and yeah that was a pretty damn good episode. Makes you miss that series doesn't it?
yeah i do but Young Justice keeps me pretty happy as far as well done DCU cartoons. i think it's actually better, the animation is superior and the story telling is a bit more gritty. of course who the fuck knows when we'll see another new episode of YJ but that's beside the point here.
True. Even though both YJ and GL:TAS are supposed to be back next month doesn't necessarily mean they will:(
