Sick Man

Hey people.

So, yeah I've been gone for a bit, and once again due to ongoing health issues.

I have a severe gluten allergy and when I consume enough of it, my body unfortunately reacts very badily and violently to it.

It's basically a "Everyone out of the pool" situation where I can't seem to keep or hold food or liquids down until

my body says it's OK. And that's even with a shit ton of anti-nausea meds.

So for a solid week or two I'm left feeling like this:

Yeah it actually feels just like that.
I'm utterly exhausted and pretty much bed-ridden.

I know I'm not alone though. More and more people are being diagnosed with gluten allergies due to all the crap and pesticides and additives put in our food that's supposed to be "safe" to eat, but it's not.

The worst thing is there's no cure or medicine you can take to counteract the allergy. You simply have to do your due diligence and carefully read the labels on the goods and foods you eat to be sure.

It's equally as frustrating and disheartening.

That all leads into me saying, from here on out, any and all future posts will truly be sporadic at best.
Between my health issues and my own growing lack of interest in maintaining this blog, it just feels like a good time to step back for awhile.

It shouldn't come as a surprise really. I knew last year was my full last year of regularly posting, but I still wanted to keep going. I just don't have the passion or energy like I used to even though the ideas and concepts still continue to come to my mind.

So while I'm not 100% saying goodbye, I'm definitely taking a much-needed siesta for the time being to recharge mentally and physically.

I'll always appreciate those who came and commented and interacted with me here, as well as continue to support those of my friends who continue to keep blogging.
Googum, Sholmo, you guys have my eternal respect and admiration for keeping up what you guys are doing. No bullshit, you guys have always been a big inspiration to me.
Don't stop. Keep trucking until you guys are ready to call it quits.

Thank you all.
